Can you feel when they take it out of put it in???
My issue comes with a nonverbal toddler
Just got mine inserted today. And I was scared but honestly it doesn’t hurt at all and it’s really fast. They numb you for some the lidocaine could burn a little but for me it felt like a cooling sensation. Honestly was ready to be dramatic and cry lol 😂 but it’s super fast and no pain at all
I hope you all are reading this when I say that the Lord loves you all so very much and we all need to be following Jesus!!! Please he loves us and He died for us. He’s worth getting to know because He’s real and He is good! Great surgery fast and perfect
I’m looking into getting one and I’m petrified of needles 😢
I did it today it wasn’t bad I just dislike the injection to make you numb.
Make sure you get given a lot of numbing it doesn't come out that easy after 3yrs of having it in the muscle heals and it takes a lot of tugging you might I stitches after coz I did I'm having my second one taken out in 3wks and another put in.. no pregnancy here I recommend this then the coil I am traumatised from having that put in
My GP didn't give me pain relief because she said the injection hurts more than just putting the implant in. I was fine, it only hurts for a few seconds, and I really feel it's worth it. You'll be fine!
Like a lot of comments are saying, this is a lot easier than we think. I just got mine and i was terrified. But my doctor was amazing and kept me talking. The numbing injection was the worst part, and that was only a slight burn 😊
Getting this Friday. I am TERRIFIED
Drs want to put me on this to assist with severe menstrual migraine... What are your thoughts and opinions !? Does anyone else use this specifically for that ? I've never used BC outside of an IUD between my pregnancies... I'm really not interested in the side effects of acne, weight gain, bloating and others.... So I'm very very nervous
i would say it's honestly up to you. if you've tried migraine treatments (triptans, strong painkillers and beta blockers) then it might be worth a go. but this depends on if the migraines are really debilitating. if you're in so much pain you can't function then maybe this is your last option. that being said there's mixed evidence on if it works, and it's different for all people. it might work, it might not. the only comfort really is that if it doesn't work they can just take it back out. if you haven't tried all those treatments i mentioned earlier i would suggest using those first tho 🥰
@@yayeet8879 yeah twenty years in and ive tried literally everything... Both western and alternative. Nothing has helped, I've lost actual years accumulated, and as a single mama.. or just a mom in general, it's devastating to have lost so many moments in excruciating pain. This... This is not what life is meant to be. And it sucks cause I live such a "clean" life... Don't drink or smoke, never have, super mindful of what goes into my body... Which is probably why I'm nervous about coming at it in a hormonal way, I don't want to make things worse...and I don't want any other symptoms I really appreciate you and thanks for connecting. 🙏
Im studying for my behavior analyst exam and studying the terminology, pragmatic language, sensory processing, language acquisition, social skills, personal care skills, self-injurious behavior, self-stimulatory behavior and im sure theres more i need to learn. 🎉
Just like watching horror movie😭

Just got the implant yesterday, the numbing stung really bad and my whole body got cold, but after that I didn’t feel anything. I did feel like I was gonna pass out tho.
I think not forcing them to wear uncomfortable clothing in the first place would be better... Listen to them to understand what specifically bothers them about the clothes. Is it the tags, seams, fabric material? Is it too tight or loose? Is it too warm or not warm enough? etc. Then get them clothes that don't bother them in those ways. They wouldn't stay desensitized with the method mentioned in this video and forcing them to wear uncomfortable clothes can lead to autistic burnout or meltdowns (if they have sensory issues from autism, that is). Kids typically know what it is that they like/dislike. Communicate with them. If they have trouble with this, try different clothing for them and pay attention to what seems to bother them and what doesn't, and never force them to wear something they aren't comfortable with.
Would I be able to feel it in her arm?
Jbv
I got my done today and it took them 3 min tiny pain but very well done
Just had my 1st one done and couldn't be happier!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Absolutely nothing to worry about 😊 Numbing injection is a scratch and the anticipation is worse. Will keep you all updated as the week goes on 😊
HEY LADIES WHO ARE GETTING ONE OF THESE I got mine today here's the lowdown 1st, they give you a pregnancy test. It's just standard shit. 2nd. They give you the numbing injection. Mine burned and hurt but I'm also a little whiny baby when it comes to needles so you'll be fine. Maybe take an emotional support human with you if you're nervous tho. 3rd. My gyno made me wait 10 minutes after the anesthetic bc she wanted me nice and numb. 4th. They insert the thing. I couldn't feel shit, just some pressure. I don't recommend watching your Dr do it but if you wanna go ahead 5th. They bandage you up, tell you how long to keep it on, and then tell you to GTFO. Would I recommend? Hell yeah. Does it hurt? The anesthetic injections was the most painful part but I'm a baby when it comes to needles. You'll be fine. You can't feel the rest of it cause you're all numb. Your arm will be sore like you got a vaccine but that's it lol. Good luck ladies!!
this is really helpful!!
@@yayeet8879 glad I could help! If your arms too sore you can take some ibuprofen for it. Honestly I've had mine for almost two months now and I love it. No more periods lol 🫶
ah, public trust. That thing everybody understands no longer exists.
😊😊😊😊❤
I’m so scared.
How’d it go?
@@youraveragejoe2 it went good!
@@Sabrina-wk3zv that’s good
The best thing I ever did! Wish I’d have had it done years ago. It didn’t hurt at all. Only some slight itching as it healed
Are there any issues working out with this in your arm? Especially arm exercises, weight lifting, and such? TY
It looks good! ❤ I’m getting this option at a clinic just don’t know which one yet.
I remember have mine done 2 years ago now it was okay getting it done but the sleepless night's my god 😅
My butthole tightened seeing it removed goodbye
If this simple procedure with local anesthesia is applied freaks you out, how about children in gaza going through amputation without anesthesia make you feel? Free Palestine❤
I'm scared watching this but I'm more scared to get pregnant again hahahah
Have your husband get a vasectomy
Is it me or does any one else see that the kettle is too close to the edge of the counter? Potentially could have tipped over her when she put the milk back in the fridge.
It's not in any way nearer to the edge of the table
nice
I am getting mine soon
I've been on birth control tablets for a year now, and I have had so many issues with either headaches, feeling fatigued. but now I'm on new ones. im really contemplating this! people in the comments say its painless, it seems like an easy solution. I'm happy this video exists. thanks for the educational and informative video!
I have already take out the implant but now i m not getting pregnant so plzzz what should i do now so can i get a suggestion plzzzz😢😢
Very relaxing
I have a schedule next week. I am afraid because I am planning to get pregnant after 3 years. I am afraid that I won’t be pregnant anymore after having implant. 😢
why this music though 😂
just got mine didn’t hurt at all
Your ideas are very good. I will use some of these for my kids at mt centre.
Is it visible?
I can't believe i thought they just raw dog it with the thick needle I was terrified. These girls really calmed me down while i was in the room waiting for them to get back with the nexplanon and im happy to say yes the numbing was the worst part 🙌 after a failed iud then birth though that burn was nothing. Like if it was bad I've literally had the 2 peaks, I couldn't tell. It goes away so quick too like it increases a bit then just disappears. The needle didn't hurt going in which helped a bit because it was the part i was actually scared for I'm so scared of shots. Then i didn't feel the insertion it was so quick. I'll be back and tell you about the healing process because thats another thing I'm scared of.
I don't know how I found this video. I was looking for a cure for premature Ejaculating.
do it hurt really bad
Having it put in is fine hardly any pain having it taking out on the other hand is another story I got mine taken out yesterday the numbing injection didn’t work and I felt her cut my arm open and to add more sh*t onto that she couldn’t get the implant out for a good 15 minutes and I could feel her cutting my arms open even more then finally she got the implant out using tweezers 😅😬 good thing I have a high pain tolerance as that 20 minutes was pure hell and 10 minutes after I left my arm finally went numb at the wrong time 😂🤦🏻♀️ but 24h after it all my arm is just slightly tender
Thank you! All great ideas. I will be heading into my level II fieldwork working in pediatrics. This is an immensely helpful video. Cheers!
as a wuss who got theirs done recently worst part is the numbing if you’ve gotten a tooth pulled you know what it’s like after your numb everything is smooth sailing maybe soreness for a few days. don’t look at the needle & bring someone to squeeze the life out of their hand.
this will be my first bc method im trying. hopefully i don't have too bad of a side effect. if it doesn't work for me i will try iud next
Lmk
@@fresitafawn alr :) my appointment is on monday ^^
@@fresitafawnthe process itself was really easy :,) the only painful part was injecting the numbing medication and that's it. everything else felt like a weird pressure. i'll keep u updated for any side effects for me
Wow i feel like this is much better easier than the IUD you put in your vagina, am I right?
I just got mine inserted todaaaay
